Why Join?
The 海角社区 Powerlifting Association (UAPA) was established to support individuals interested in pursuing powerlifting, whether for competition or general fitness.
Powerlifting consists of three lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. The sport’s overall purpose is to test maximal strength of the body as a whole.
The club trains out of a dedicated facility in the Hanson Fitness and Lifestyle Centre, where members hold regular training sessions. Each year, the club also hosts the Power Surge competition.
