Undergraduate Programs

Sociology provides a theoretical and empirical foundation for studying how societies function and the extent to which societies influence, and are influenced by, the people who inhabit them. It is a discipline that invites you to develop your sociological imagination – a way of looking at the world that makes visible the links between the private experiences of individuals and larger social issues.

Undergraduate Programs

Our programs equip you with the analytical, research and communication skills that employers value. You will learn how to approach societal challenges from various angles, to ask and answer complex questions, and to work collaboratively, creatively and professionally. An undergraduate degree in sociology or criminology can help you direct your talents, ambition and energy to make a positive difference in the world.
