Locations

The Mike Petryk School of Dentistry locations are spread across Alberta. We have three main locations on the º£½ÇÉçÇø north campus.

Facilities

The school houses world-class facilities that empower discovery and clinical education. The school’s infrastructure includes over 60 simulators, 140 operatories, a research centre, and laboratories that help learners build skills and confidence in safe, immersive settings that align with real-world experiences. Discover our facilities »

Kipnes building

Dianne and Irving Kipnes Health Research Institute

The Kipnes Institute is home to a community of scholars from across the health science faculties working to improve health outcomes for all Canadians.

Our location: 5th & 1st floors
What: Administration, simulation lab, touchdown spaces, and classrooms

Katz buliding

Katz Group Centre for Pharmacy and Health Research

This seven-storey research and teaching facility includes researchers from across the º£½ÇÉçÇø who lead in innovation and research.

Our location: 7th floor
What: Research facilities, labs, and a wet lab

Kaye building

Kaye Edmonton Clinic

Kaye is a facility that combines multiple clinical services and specialists into one building. The school uses the top floor of the building.

Our location: 8th floor
What: Oral Health Clinic, sterilization, materials management, prosthodontics labs, patient areas, and offices

  • Children's oral health can affect learning

    Children with poor oral health have trouble concentrating in class, have lower self-esteem, and it can adversely affect their social interactions.

    Has a tooth been bothering you? A few aches and pains? Too busy to have it checked out? You may want to head to the dentist’s office before letting it fester any longer – the longer you wait, the more detrimental it could be to your health. 

  • º£½ÇÉçÇø satellite dental clinics are ready for the new school year

    The º£½ÇÉçÇø is reopening its satellite oral health-care clinics in High Level, La Crete and McLennan on Sept. 2, 2025. Our dedicated students have returned from their summer break to their studies in dentistry and dental hygiene.
