Guidelines for Document Submission
- Health and Safety Requirements will not be listed in your checklist in your UAlberta Launchpad account because they are requirements for clinical practice, not admission requirements for entry to the program.
- Students with disabilities should visit the Students with Disabilities section of our website for more information.
- Students are required to submit their recertified Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider CPR and N95 Mask fitting to the faculty yearly before or on expiry.
- Documents filled out by the University Health Centre will not be automatically submitted to the Faculty of Nursing. It is the responsibility of the student to obtain and submit these documents.
- Ensure you familiarize yourself with all the requirements, including fees, identification to bring, and processing times in order to meet your requirements in an expedient manner. Fees are the responsibility of the student and processing times vary depending on the volume of requests.
- Contact the College of Health Sciences at chsplace@ualberta.ca should you anticipate any difficulties meeting the deadline for your program.
- As a nursing student doing clinical placements you will need to meet the requirements of the student placement agreement. As part of this agreement, audits are conducted on your health and safety requirements.
The College of Health Sciences has a detailed with a description of all required documents across all programs. Not all these documents are required for Nursing. Please review your program checklists for more details.
