After Degree Prerequisites
As outlined in the of the University Calendar, specific prerequisite courses must be completed in order to be eligible for admission to the BScN-After Degree program. The following prerequisite courses must be completed, and transcripts submitted by the June 15 deadline:
- English (3 units)
- Human Anatomy (3 units)
- Human Physiology (3 units)
- Medical Microbiology (3 units)
- Statistics (3 units)
Important: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Medical Microbiology courses require a minimum grade of C+ and must be completed within 5 years of the program start date.
Where to Take These Courses
You can complete these courses at any accredited institution. Options include:
- 海角社区 : Many courses are available online through the Open Studies program . Registration information can be found on Bear Tracks.
- Other Institutions : Use the Transfer Credit Search Tool to find equivalent courses.
If you’re taking courses outside of Canada, please submit course descriptions for evaluation.
NOTE: These courses must be completed and transcripts received by the document deadline for the term you are applying for.
