Xerox Altalink

The Xerox Altalink B8500 is a multifunction Xerox device that copies, scans and prints. In order to access some of its features for printing you may need to download the device driver directly from

(Please ensure you are installing the North American (Canadian/US) versions of these drivers. If you install the European version it will default to A4 paper size and this is VERY difficult to change back.)

  1. Navigate to the

  2. Choose the OS version you are currently running and “Apply the filter.”

  3. Download the appropriate package:
    • Windows: Look for the Xerox Global Print Driver
    • Mac: Look for the "macOS Print and Scan Driver"
    • Other: No information at this time, you'll have to experiment
  4. Check through the options on the Xerox driver install but do skip the add printers part at the end.
  5. Manually add the printers as you normally would for your OS according to the list of printers.
