Seniors' Day | Thursdays Until September 25
Seniors' Day runs every Thursday until September 25. Free coffee will be available for seniors (65+) at The Cafe and the Bee Line hop-on-hop-off tram service will be offered most Thursdays typically running between 10:30 a.m., to 3:30 p.m.
General Garden admission applies. Free admission for Garden Members.

Bloom and Breathe Yoga Retreat | September 1

Edmonton Weavers Guild | September 4
Come explore the rich traditions and techniques of the Edmonton Weavers Guild. Located by the Dining Domes, Edmonton Weavers Guild Members will demonstrate and provide samples of weaving, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and felt-making. Whether you’re a fibre arts enthusiast or new to the craft, this one-day-only event is a celebration of creativity and skill, and is included with the purchase of Garden admission. Garden Members get free admission.

Japanese Tea Ceremony | September 21 - SOLD OUT
Take in a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, within the Teahouses in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden, presented by the Matsukaze Chanoyu Association.
“Matsukaze” means ‘wind in the pines’ – in the quiet of the tearoom, the sound of water in the kettle is similar to hearing wind in the pines. "Cha No Yu" (literally, hot water for tea) is the Japanese art of making and sharing tea.
A tea ceremony ticket and Garden general admission ticket are both required to attend.

Pathways | September 25
Kurimoto Japanese Garden
An evening of cultural experience centered in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden.
In addition to music, food and cultural displays, Edmonton artist and photographer Nozomi Kamei will share her project about the history of Japanese-Albertans, including some of their experiences in internment camps during the Second World War. Also featuring Kita no Taiko Drummers, Tea Ceremonies, food, music and more.
Join us in the second of four cultural showcases at the Botanic Garden in 2025/26, creating multiple pathways between peoples through the arts.
