ONEcard Check-In for Events

Students sitting around tables at an event

Make event check-in, attendance tracking and other campus activities simple and efficient with the ONEcard Reader rental service.

How it works

There are two check-in options that both log attendees in real time.

  • Restricted guest list: When attendees tap their ONEcard, the system checks the provided list. If they are not on the list, the reader will display an “X.”
  • Open attendance tracking: The ONEcard Reader can be used for simple check-in to record who tapped, without verifying against a list.

After the event, you will receive a spreadsheet report with the attendees' first and last names. Additional information options are limited based on the event.

Book a ONEcard Reader

  1. Email event details: date, time, location and the number of ONEcard Readers required.
  2. (Optional) Provide a list of attendees if you’d like verification against a list. The list should include the attendees first name, last name and ONEcard ID number.

Cost + setup requirements:

  • Each ONEcard Reader is $75 per day to rent.
  • Ethernet connection at the event location for each ONEcard Reader (The ONEcard team will handle the setup). Mobile Wi-Fi is available to rent, but ethernet connection is recommended.
  • Minimum two weeks' notice for setup and testing.
