Program Overview

This program provides international students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen their knowledge in their field of study by participating in ongoing research activities at UTEC in Lima, Peru.

Research projects available in the following areas:

  • Applied Mathematics and Computing
  • Bioengineering
  • Communications, Automation, and Control
  • Energy
  • Engineering and Technology
  • Impact and Social Responsibility
  • Materials and Construction Systems
  • Mathematics and Computing
  • Business and Operations

Terms Offered:  Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer

Duration: Maximum 3 months

Application Deadlines + Instructions

Deadline: October 15 for Spring 2026.

Instructions: Please apply on . Students will be nominated if they meet the basic eligibility. Instructions will follow with further application steps for students who are conditionally approved. 

Fees + Costs

  • Placement Fee: $250 
Students are encouraged to apply for funding even if they do not have a confirmed internship to avoid missing important deadlines.
