The International Summer and Winter Programs are open to undergraduate students from any post-secondary institution around the world.

International Visiting Student Program

(Previously known as VSCP)

The International Visiting Student Program (IVSP) offers international students the opportunity to study at the º£½ÇÉçÇø for four to twelve months. Participants take regular academic courses and receive built-in support to strengthen their academic, language, and intercultural skills.

IVSP is designed for students who are registered in a degree program at a university outside of Canada and who are looking to enhance their English for academic purposes or benefit from structured academic support that includes intercultural learning as an essential part of their experience and success in a new academic and cultural environment.

Research Internships

UAlberta offers numerous internship programs for students from select countries and partner institutions. Interns can participate in cutting-edge research with renowned faculty members.

Visiting Students (non-Exchange)

Students enrolled at other universities may be able to attend the º£½ÇÉçÇø for one term or one academic year as a visiting student. The purpose is usually to receive course credit that can be transferred back to their degree at their home institution.
