You could unknowingly spread influenza to patients, coworkers, loved ones, and your community before you even feel sick. Getting immunized is a simple but powerful way to keep our workplaces safe and healthy for everyone.

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Site Immunizers Join Efforts

October 8 to 31

Location: Lower Bernard Snell Hall

  • WHS will continue offering both Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines up to Oct. 24.
  • Site immunizers will offer the Influenza vaccine only, using roving teams and stationary carts up to Oct. 31.
  • Site communication and schedules will come out closer to the site start-up.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information for Health-care Workers

  • Eligibility:
    • Health-care workers (HCWs)
    • Workers who have underlying medical or immunocompromising conditions
  • Cost: Free of charge at WHS or Public Health clinics (while supplies last)
  • Identification Required:
    • Personal Health Number (PHN)
    • AHS ID (or other proof of employment, e.g., student in clinical placement)
    • NEW: Health-care workers who are members of a registered college or union do not require proof of enrollment or association.
      • Only need to bring your personal health number (PHN) and your employee ID card (or other proof of employment).
      • No need to show proof of union or college membership.
  • Recommendation: Eligible HCWs are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
