BCom Spirit Cup 2025
We’re thrilled to introduce the 2025 BCom Spirit Cup for first year business students – a partnership with the BUS 101 Series, Business Undergraduate Office, Careers and Work Integrated Learning Office (CWIL), and the Business Students’ Association (BSA). Get ready for exciting, inclusive activities that embrace friendly competition, strengthen bonds, and fuel team spirit!
How it Works
- Incoming students will be placed into six houses, made up of different BUS 101 Seminar sections. Houses can earn points by participating in a variety of events like networking events, trivia nights, information sessions and more. Points will be tracked on a weekly leaderboard shared on social media, in the BCom newsletter, in the Business Undergraduate Office, and before each BUS 101 Seminar.
- Activities can be team-based, individual or participant focused.
- In team-based activities, you'll work together and receive points according to your house's final placement.
- In individual activities, you can win points for your house even if you all can't participate.
- In participant activities, each member of the house who participates in the activity earns a point.
- At the end of the semester, the house with the most points will win business swag!
Fall 2025 Leaderboard
House standings will be announced in the weekly BCom Newsletter and on the website every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Point totals will be updated after each activity!
The Business Undergraduate Office, located in BUS 2-20, will also display a physical leaderboard. Don't hesitate to email bus.community@ualberta.ca if you have any questions.
