Oracle Recruiting Cloud - What Employees Need to Know

The university is preparing to launch Oracle Recruiting Cloud on October 5 to 6, 2025, which will be replacing the current Career Portal. In preparation for go-live, no new job postings will be posted to the Career Portal from September 22 to October 6. However, employees can continue to apply for open positions on the Career Portal until September 30.

How is ORC beneficial to employees when it goes live?

When the new system goes live, employees can: 

  • Search, filter, and view job postings 
  • Create and maintain a profile with your skills, experience and education
  • Set up notifications for new positions that may interest you 
  • Track the status of your applications in real time
  • Receive automatic updates and communications
  • Review and sign offer letters digitally through ORC for those roles that are posted. 

I recently applied for a job in the Career Portal. Will I need to reapply for the same job in ORC? 

No, you do not need to reapply. Any applications that are submitted through the Career Portal prior to September 30 will be reviewed using the current process. 

Will I need to create an account to access ORC?

No, you do not need to create an account to access ORC. ORC recognizes your 海角社区 CCID credentials. By logging into the system with credentials, you will be able to view and apply to postings that are open to both internal and external candidates. 

Will employees receive support or resources to help with using the new ORC system?  

Yes. Watch for resource materials to become available closer to the go live date to help you navigate the new platform with ease. The system is designed to be modern, intuitive, and user-friendly, making it easy to search for jobs, upload your resume, and track your application status. If you need help, support will be available through Shared Services.
