Business analytics is the management and analysis of data using algorithms and models, to inform data-driven business decisions and to evaluate business outcomes.

A curriculum that spans disciplines

A major in business analytics gives you a foundation in technologies, methods and strategic thinking needed to work with data in a business context. You’ll learn how to design databases to organize and manage information, apply machine learning methods to predict outcomes, use optimization methods to determine the most effective course of action and how to leverage analytics to inform business strategy.
