Award Winning Graduate Student in the Department of Anthropology
27 August 2025

The Killam Scholarships, valued up to $45,000 a year for a two-year period, are offered to outstanding students in a doctoral program.
Dawn is also a scholar at the Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology, she aims to tell the stories of her ancestors’ connections to Southern Alberta using archaeology. Through the use of archaeology she hopes to gain a greater understanding of the earliest connections of the Métis to that landscape.
Congratulations, Dawn!
